Elinor proudly presents Orkan, our 7.2 MWh container based on the Sigrid cell and pack, leading the development in energy density, safety and performance for BESS. Experience from other markets like solar and wind shows how modularization will substantially reduce cost and risk, and increase system performance.

Elinors product roadmap aims to produce the same positive effects for you, with ever more energy density per unit of land, and cell, pack and system designs that can be manufactured ever more efficiently.

That is why the same standard Elinor container format will also support the flexible Astrid cell and packs.

  • Elinor and Morlus are uniquely focused on the BESS market from the battery chemistry up. The quality of products are designed to meet even the most stringent utility level requirements for availability and life time performance. We ensure you will have an operational, high performance BESS site for decades to come.

  • The Sigrid cells and packs are designed to optimize the usage of space and flow of electrical and heat energy, all the while being extraordinarily safe and protected.

  • Orkan is a DC BESS container. To deliver the full system we invite highly competent integrators and EPC contractors to collaborate and integrate Elinor containers with their inverters/ AC gear and energy management systems of choice.

    This way, regardless of the timing and whether you source our Chinese or Norwegian production, you can integrate European hardware and software on the critical infrastructure side, should you prefer.

  • Elinor supports a rigorous standardization of the BESS industry. Performance, safety and quality of service parameters needs to be measurably defined to help the industry scale, minimize cost of capital and prove sustainability across the value chain.

  • The ever increasing requirements for system life time and uptime/service level require more ruggedness and fault tolerance.

  • BESS installation

    Aurora

    A remarkably high density 1C LFP cell, Aurora is the Elinor launch cell, in production since Q1 2024. Demonstrating the carefully considered safety features and cell design expertise of Morlus, Aurora offers unmatched density and charge/discharge rate at unbeatable value.

    Aurora has a slim, elongated design for optimal safety and performance. With remarkably high cycle life time, this cell gives the flexibility of a perfect balance between power and energy.

  • Astrid

    The next gen cell with next gen LFP chemistry. Astrid perfects the development of Aurora in a flexible format that fits up to 6.73 MWh in a single 20’ container, with market leading cycle life time, safety and cooling efficiency.

    Astrids is our most flexible cell concept. In addition to being the perfect combination of density and safety, it is a flexible format to respond to future market needs with optimized cell and pack variants - like for high power.
