Elinor Batteries is proud to announce a new strategic collaboration with RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. The collaboration entails testing batteries for BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) applications. Elinor will leverage RISE’s competency and facilities to rapidly increase its testing capabilities, enabling the qualification of products for the fast-growing BESS market. The new partnership strengthens Elinor’s mission to help decarbonize Europe with sustainably sourced and produced battery products.

Elinor Batteries, in partnership with SINTEF, has successfully manufactured its first battery cells at the battery laboratory in Trondheim.

Arne Fredrik Lånke, co-founder of Elinor batteries, recently presented at NTNU’s Team Battery Seminar. Elinor Batteries is establishing close dialogue with NTNU, the leading technical university of Norway, as the institution will play an essential role in educating the future employees in Norway’s battery industry.

Elinor Batteries and SINTEF have entered into a Memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation, aiming to establish a giga-scale factory for production of sustainable batteries in Central Norway.
